This year, the Follies is taking the lead from a 50-year-old iconic television show that features sketch comedy.  Following SNL’s footsteps, Cambria Night Live will feature unpredictable sketch routines, local news, a rock band, and popular music with slightly (wink) altered lyrics.

 

If you did not already know, the Follies parodies and celebrates our beloved village, and now is your chance to join this end-of-summer partyfest with a delightful cast featuring Claude Albanese, Natalie Edmonds, Deb Glasgow, Mark Harrington, Aaron Jackson, Leonard Kohout, Aaron Linn, Renee Linn, Gavin Lundy, Lorienne Schwenk, Shar Silva, and Robin Wieland.

 

Randy Schwalbe writes and directs this two-hour extravaganza that includes pre-recorded TV commercials and a featured musical artist. Renee Linn serves as producer, script consultant, casting director, and costume designer.

 

The Follies consists of six shows over a two-weekend span. You can see the show at 7 PM on Aug 22, 23, 29, 30, 31, and at 3 PM on Aug 24 at the Vet’s Hall in the heart of Cambria’s West Village. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance at the Cambria Chamber of Commerce or through the Cambria Lions Club website starting mid July. General seating is $25, an Angel Seat is $80. The Angel Seats occupy the first couple of rows of the hall, and each party will receive a bottle of wine and refreshments served on a personal table.
